Naseby Reservoir - Northamptonshire

new cast
Fishery Type: Carp Commerical
Address: Carvells Lane
Phone #: 01908 302556

Naseby reservoir was up until recently, one of the lesser known carp ‘pits’ in the British Waterways intinery. This is despite the fact that Naseby holds some rather large Carp, Catfish, Roach, Tench and Bream. The carp have been reported at a fraction under 30lb, with the average size being somewhere around the 12lb mark.

Naseby is well known for its tendancy to fish well ‘into the wind’, therfore it is always adviseable to follow the wind where possible. The method, the waggler and the pole all acount for big weights, but the matches tend to be won at shorter range (3-6 metres out).
